Tufi named Alaska Sports Hall of Fame’s Athlete of the Week

JDHS soccer standout Graham to play for North Idaho

Juneau Douglas High School’s Makenna Graham graduates after a stellar soccer career.  The team captain and star defender played varsity all four years and helped lead the Crimson Bears to two State Championships.  Makenna will be attending North Idaho College to study behavioral analysis and criminal justice while playing collegiate soccer for the Cardinals.

Schumacher wins Beck International Trophy as USA’s top skier

Cross-country skier Gus Schumacher of Anchorage reached rarified air after winning the Beck International Trophy. State Champion Cramer to wrestle for Eastern Oregon

Vincent “Vinnie” Cramer was a four-year wrestler for Colony High School.  He capped off  an outstanding career with the Knights by winning the 2019 Conference and State Championship.  In February he signed his letter of intent to wrestle for Eastern Oregon University this fall.
