Wasilla High School’s Carter Huston was a key member of the Warriors first ever State Championship baseball team. The four-year varsity player threw the last pitch of the dramatic 2019 state championship game. He was brilliant in closing the game out with 3.2 scoreless innings and was named to the state All Tournament team. He had an impressive junior year in which he was 4-0 with a 1.22 ERA. His senior season was canceled due to COVID-19. Carter will playing baseball at Bismarck State College this fall while studying Petroleum Technology.
