West Valley’s Kramer to ski and run for hometown UAF

Kendall Kramer graduates from West Valley High School as one of the most accomplished high school cross country skiers in the history of the state.  And as a runner, the Wolfpack star won her third straight cross-country running state title and swept the 1,600 and 3,200 events in track and field.  In skiing, Kendall was named to the U.S. Ski Team’s Developmental Team, was state Skimeister and competed at World Juniors.  Over the course of her high school career Kendall collected an astounding 14 state championships — six in track, five in skiing and three in cross-country running.  She likely would have added to that total if the track season had not been canceled her senior year.  She also won the Mount Marathon junior girls title in 2018.  Kendall won the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame Pride of Alaska girls award in 2019, given to the state’s top female high school athlete. Kendall has committed to skiing and running for her home town school, the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
