Travante Williams
Anchorage’s Travante Williams put in a full day’s work in half the time, scoring 30 points in just 20 minutes for Sporting Lisbon in a 99-69 blowout win over Maia Basket in the Portuguese League.
The 6-foot-6 forward drained 12-of-18 field goals, including 6-of-10 from 3-point land.
Williams, of Mt. Edgecumbe High fame, reached the 30-plateau for the seventh time in his five-year career in Portugal and Georgia.
His career high is 50 points and he had another game with 48.
Williams has averaged 15.9 points per game in 113 pro games. He’s also a three-time Defensive Player of the Year.
A complete package.
It’s a big reason why his teams have combined to go 96-11 in the Portuguese League.
