Backhand beauty nets Walker game-winning goal for St. Cloud

Nolan Walker
Anchorage’s Nolan Walker buried a backhand beauty midway through the third period that proved to be the game-winning goal for St. Cloud State in a 4-3 win over No. 4 Denver in the WCHA.
The junior forward took a perfect pass right on his stick in front of the net and lifted the puck past the goaltender for his first goal of the new season.
It’s hard to decide which was better – the pass or the goal. Either way, the excellent execution resulted in one of the prettier goals you’ll ever see.
The pass! The shot 👌
Nolan Walker (from Brodzinski and Ziemer) gives @SCSUHUSKIES a 4-2 lead over Denver with 8:19 remaining in regulation!
