In 110 career games with the Bemidji State University women’s hockey team, Clair DeGeorge of Anchorage had never scored an overtime goal.

Until now.

The senior forward redirected a shot from the point that beat the goaltender through the five-hole 50 seconds into OT to lift Bemidji State to a 3-2 win over St. Cloud State in Minnesota.

DeGeorge finished the game with two goals and racked up four points on three goals and one assist in the weekend WCHA series.

She is Alaska’s active points leader among NCAA D1 skaters with 26-45-71 scoring totals.

In October, she was the only Alaskan among the 53 players invited to the U.S. Women’s National Hockey Team Evaluation Camp.
