In just her second game, Carson gives Pepperdine a lift off bench

Juneau’s Kendyl Carson gave the Pepperdine University women’s basketball team a nice lift off the bench.
In just the second game of her college career, Carson scored a career-high seven points and made her first 3-pointer as the Waves beat Cal State Bakersfield 69-58 in Malibu, California.
The 6-foot freshman played 12 minutes and added two rebounds and two steals.
Carson, of Juneau-Douglas High fame, scored on the final play of the third quarter after securing an offensive rebound.
Her 3-pointer at the 8:42 mark of the fourth quarter provided Pepperdine with its largest lead at 62-46.
