Two monster dunks by Anchorage’s JT Thor led the way to another double-figure scoring performance and helped the Auburn Tigers erase a 14-point second-half deficit against Texas A&M.

Twice in the closing moments the 6-foot-10 freshman rocked the rim, including the game-tying bucket with 14 seconds left.

Texas A&M won the game 68-66 after a last-second jumper.

Thor, of West High fame, finished with 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting. He added five rebounds, one assist and one steal.

Four of his five field goals came in the paint, helping the Alaskan raise his shooting to 43.9 percent on the season.

Thor has started all 10 games for Auburn and is averaging 7.6 points and 3.1 rebounds. He’s also racked up 11 assists, seven steals and seven blocked shots.
