Haider buries OT winner to help Army continue unbeaten streak
Daniel Haider of Anchorage made sure the Army Black Knights remain one of the hottest teams in college hockey.
The junior forward recorded points in both games of a series sweep of Bentley as Army improved to 7-0-1 over the last month.
Haider played hero in the first game after scoring the OT winner to secure a 3-2 win in Waltham, Massachusetts.
The next night in West Point, New York, the Alaskan assisted on the first goal in a 5-1 victory.
Haider, of South High fame, has registered a point in five of the eight games during this unbeaten streak.
He is tied for fourth on the Army team in scoring with four goals and five assists for nine points in 16 points.
For his college career, Haider has compiled 12-16-28 totals in 83 games.
