Menard finds his way back to prominence at Western Wyoming

Sullivan Menard
Sullivan Menard of Wasilla is making up for lost time at Western Wyoming Community College.
After sitting out last season as a redshirt, the DePaul transfer is back on the court and playing his first starring role since high school.
The 2019 Gatorade Alaska Player of the Year ranks third on his team in scoring at 11.1 points per game to help fuel Western Wyoming’s red-hot 8-2 start.
Menard is averaging 12.5 points during his team’s current six-game winning streak.
The 6-foot-3 freshman guard is adding 3.4 rebounds per game, tied for tops at the guard position.
Menard, of Colony High fame, has drained a team-high 20 3-pointers on the season and has made at least one 3-pointer in nine of 10 games.
He bagged a career-high 19 points to lead Western Wyoming to a 79-66 win over Trinidad State after scoring 13 points in the first half on 6-of-9 shooting.
