Jordan Todd of Anchorage ripped down a College of Southern Idaho women’s basketball team record 23 rebounds to highlight her double-double against Utah State Eastern in the NJCAA.

She corralled 11 offensive rebounds and scored 14 points to go with two blocked shots in the 64-52 home win.

The 6-foot-1 sophomore post player leads her team with an average of 8.1 rebounds per game through 10 games. She averaged 5.9 as a freshman.

Her previous career high was 14 rebounds, accomplished three times.

Todd, of ACS fame, is believed to be the first Alaska woman to grab 23 rebounds in a game since 2015 when Juneau’s Gabi Fenumiai pulled down 23 boards for Peninsula of the NWAC.

Todd is averaging a career-best 9.4 points this season, up from her 6.4 average last season. She has reached double figures five times, keyed by her career-high 21 points Jan. 28 against Western Nebraska.
