You could say Anchorage’s Greyson Adams owns Adams State on the soccer field.

And you wouldn’t be wrong.

The Colorado School of Mines senior defender has scored goals against Adams State in three straight games dating to 2019, helping Mines win all three meetings.

Adams, of West High fame, scored his second goal in two games against Adams State this month.

In the first game, he scored the only goal of the match in the 56th minute to provide a 1-0 win.

A week later, he scored the tying goal in the 83rd minute as the 14th-ranked Orediggers eventually won 2-1 in overtime.

He also scored against Adams State in a 2-0 win in 2019.

He now has five goals in 49 career games.

Last season, Adams was part of a defensive line that broke the school record with 13 shutouts.
