After a stellar college hockey career at the University of Maine, the Anchorage goaltender quickly became a mainstay for the Boston Bruins. In his first full season as a pro, Swayman garnered a spot on the NHL’s 2022 All-Rookie team; two seasons later, he was playing in the 2024 All-Star game. In perhaps the pinnacle of his young career, he donned a Team USA sweater in 2025 and led the Americans to the gold medal at the World Championships. He was superb in the gold-medal match, making 25 saves in a 1-0 overtime win.
