Former NCAA All-American Cayle Byers of Chugiak won his weight class at last weekend’s Northern Plains Senior Freestyle Regional in Iowa. The 214-pounder now with the Titan Mercury Wrestling Club beat former NCAA heavyweight runner-up Ryan Flores 6-5 in the 97-kilomgram championship match.
